Senior Camp Summer 2007 Part 1

This summer, we sent 7 youth to Senior Camp for ages 14-18. It has been a great 1st half of the year, God has blessed our church with lots of new youth and each one are a blessing to be around. Nicole, Daniel, Taylor, Clinton, Matt, Jessica and Brandon along with an honorary former youth Montana will spend June 10-15th at Camp Hickory Hills. Keep up the great work guys. I'm proud of you and our church is proud of each of you. Hope you had a great week at camp.

3 D Weekend May 11-13

A power packed weekend. Pastor Brian Anderson(former pastor of New Life Baptist in Henry) did an outstanding job teaching youth how to have a more personal relationship with Jesus Christ during this weekend. Youth and Staff alike enjoyed nature and the beach at Nathan Bedford Forest State Park. A first event for new youth pastor David Featherston, New Life Baptist Church. Welcome to Henry County David & family. We look forward to working together with you to reach the youth and families of Henry County Tennessee.

Freedom Fellowship meets currently on Sunday Morning at 10:30 am. We share a devotion with people who are hurting, who feel rejected by others, those who need to feel loved. The atmosphere is a laid back environment, where people can come as they are and experience fellowship and freedom in their lives as only Jesus gives. Wedneday nights at 6:00 pm is a time when we reach out to the youth of Paris/Henry County and provide a free meal for teens and children, followed by a time of worship and a devotion on how to pattern their lives in the ways of Christ and the night ends with freetime in the recreation room. I'm David and I'm currently serving as the Senior Pastor of Freedom Fellowship. My goal is to help lead today's generation of youth, children and adults into a deeper experience with God.
